School has definatly started again. I am exhausted, but I think this semester will be easier than last, partially because I have a better idea of what I am doing, partially because I only have 15 hours (last semester was 17) and partially because its just a bit easier. That of course does not mean that I won't be super stressed and crazy around finals, but at least now I know that I will survive.

Last night was the first night of domestic violence training. I am super excited about this- a few of us have decided to become domestic violence counselors so we have to go through 40 hours of training- 12 to become child advocates and then another 18 for the domestic violence. It was great, the trainor is Heather who is just awesome! She has a great sense of humor and knows when to make us laugh so that we don't start crying, some of the stuff we read is so sad!

My church is starting an outreach program for AIDS victims in Africa. I am hoping to work with them to put together some support group type things for the C-U area. There is only one program I can find that offers support groups for people with AIDS and everything I can find on them is at least two years old so I'm not sure if they are even around any more. No one in the area has support groups for family members of people with AIDS which is the group I really want to start- for obvious reasons, its sort of a passion of mine!

Ok, I really should be going to class.

It seems that it is time for my monthly blogging. I have been really sick the last few days, these have also been the only days I've had in months where I can just rest so I really couldn't have gotten sick at a better time.

I have a super large amount of homework to do and school has not yet started. That's typical law school. Law school has taken all of my time, stressed me out more than I have ever been, and made me an emotional train wreck. Its crazy!

I had a fab. winter break- The whole fam. came and some friends: Indika from Kazakhstan who is attending HLG, Yu Jin from Korea who is attending UNC-Chapel Hill, and Kyung Hoon from Korea who is attending UofI. Matt also came, I had a great time hanging out with him. I think we watched more movies while he was here than I watched all last semester. I never did show him Pride and Prejudice.

Ok, I need to go back to sleep. I have to be well enough tomorrow to go to lunch with Justin.

Its been a month since I last wrote, I think that means its time again.

I have one final left- Torts.

Law school finals are crazy hard. Contracts just about made me crazy, I just don't understand it. For the tests you get two or three essay questions. It will be a fact pattern and you have to go through and basically describe all the legal issues and possible remedies for each party. Each test lasts from 3 to 4 hours and I have been averaging around 10 pages of single spaced type for my answers. By the end of each test my fingers don't want to type any more.

Needless to say, I am exhausted! Nicholas is here, he finished his finals on wednesday. Mom and dad and Holly and Indiria will be here on sunday! Matt will be here in a week and a half! I am so excited about this break.

Wow, I haven't xangaed in a long time!

I am still loving law school, but I am also totally overwhelmed! I didn't know it was possible for school to be this hard. I also find myself getting involved in law related conversations and making jokes about adverse possessions and consideration.

Tonight is the darts championship, we have a game first round and that starts at 8 so the dart season for my team will probably be over by 8:20 (we kind of stink, but I love Big A and the rest of the Sauce' Posse'). We are meeting a little beforehand to do crim flash cards, we are all such nerds.

The last week has been pretty difficult. I made a bad decision that cost me a lot, but I got it refunded. School is majorly stressful, but there are people to help me.

Basically, even though life is hard, God is taking care of me! I love being able to say that!
